Once you register with us at Community Wheels, it is very simple to start using our transport services to take you to where you need to go within the Parramatta and Holroyd areas and bordering area of Auburn.
This may include:
Doctor or specialist appointments
Social activities and events
Nursing home visits
Community Wheels always tries to do the very best to cater to all our clients but we do get very busy at times and therefore, would love if you could please contact us as soon as you know when you will require our transport services. It is best to contact us at least one week at the latest before your appointment date as many of our clients contact us months in advance to book.
If in the event of being unable to transport you on the date or time you require, Community Wheels will endevour to make alternative arrangements if possible.
Please have the following information ready before contacting us to book:
Your full name
Your home address
Your home number & mobile if possible
The full address where Community Wheels will be picking you up from
The complete address where Community Wheels will be dropping you off including the business name e.g. Community Wheels Inc. Unit 3E, 6 Boundary Road, Northmead 2152.
Time you need to be at your appointment
If you will be traveling with a carer, family member or friend.
Please inform us at Community Wheels if you will be traveling one way only i.e. you do not need to be picked up again from your appointment and returned home as a family member will be picking you up instead.
Please inform us at Community Wheels if you know the definite time you need to be picked up after you have finished your appointment if we are returning you to your first destination
There are two ways to contact here at Community Wheels to make your booking:
Make a booking over the phone: Call our very friendly Bookings Officer on (02) 8868 1400 anytime Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
It is best to call us if your appointment date is less than one week away to check our availability or if you need to change or cancel a previous booking.
Please note: There may be a $5 cancellation contribution if you do not call Community Wheels to inform us that you have cancelled your booking within 24 hours of your booking time.
Make a booking online: Once you become a Community Wheels Inc. client, you are eligible make your bookings online.
It is best to use the Online Booking Form if you know your appointment details at least one week in advance.
If your booking is less than one week away, or has multiple destinations, please call us instead to make your booking on (02) 8868 1400.
Please note: Once you have submitted your booking online, we only contact you if your booking is unsuccessful or requires additional information.
Community Wheels please requests that you be ready at least one hour before your appointment time so we will pick you up any time within that hour.
We transport quite a few clients throughout the day to various destinations at similar times to your appointment or pick up time and may need to pick you up earlier or later.
On rare occasions, not under Community Wheels' control e.g. heavy traffic, we may be delayed but we will always contact you if we are unable to get to you on time.
